From small businesses to major corporations, financial record keepers with excellent accounting skills are in demand. They are needed to carry out a wide range of bookkeeping and accounting activities such as accounts payable and receivable, profit and loss, and tabulating expenditures and receipts. At Andover College, you will have the opportunity to learn the technical accounting skills needed to find a rewarding career in accounting.
Career Preparation
You can enroll in the Accounting Certificate program without a degree or previous experience. Typical courses cover accounting principles, payroll procedures, computerized accounting, and electronic spreadsheets. Credit hours earned in the program may be applied toward an associate degree program. Successful completion of the Certified Bookkeeper Exam*as administered by the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers (AIPB) is the goal of this program. To learn more, select a campus below.
